Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse associates through performance coaching and scheduling
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize inventory management systems and accuracy (WMS experience required)
- Coordinate with transportation teams for efficient freight movement
- Conduct regular audits and process improvements
- Manage warehouse budget and cost control initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or manufacturing
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development record
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
