Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train, mentor, and evaluate performance of warehouse staff to ensure peak productivity
- Implement OSHA compliance protocols and maintain a safe, accident-free work environment
- Optimize space utilization through strategic layout planning and inventory rotation
- Collaborate with transportation team to ensure timely shipping and receiving
- Generate performance reports and identify opportunities for operational improvements
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse management experience with team leadership
- Forklift certification and proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
- Strong analytical skills with experience in inventory control methodologies
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in high-volume environments
