Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, assigning tasks and maintaining productivity standards
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols to ensure zero workplace incidents
- Optimize inventory management systems, including cycle counts and stock reconciliation
- Coordinate loading/unloading operations with transportation teams
- Train staff on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks) and warehouse procedures
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and process inefficiencies
- Generate daily/weekly performance reports for senior management
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA 30-Hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like SAP or Oracle
- Forklift certification and heavy equipment operation skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends if needed
- High school diploma; Associate's degree preferred
