Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping processes
- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse associates, ensuring productivity and safety compliance
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA regulations and company policies
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system reconciliations
- Coordinate with transportation and procurement teams for seamless workflow
- Generate performance reports and KPI tracking for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse supervision experience in fast-paced environments
- Proven track record in team leadership and performance management
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
- Forklift certification and basic mechanical aptitude preferred
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred
