Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse associates through performance coaching
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain accident-free workplace standards
- Optimize space utilization and implement lean inventory management systems
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling and load planning
- Generate operational reports and KPIs for continuous improvement
- Resolve escalated customer inquiries and vendor-related issues
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced logistics environments
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and warehouse technologies
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Strong analytical skills with experience in inventory management
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
