Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping functions.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to ensure high productivity and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and coordinate with inventory control to prevent stock discrepancies.
- Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of daily operations, labor hours, and shift reports.
- Coordinate with transportation carriers to ensure timely loading and delivery of outbound freight.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in warehouse supervision or logistics management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and manage a diverse workforce.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Valid forklift certification and experience operating heavy warehouse machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
