Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Oversee receiving, storage, and shipping operations while maintaining accurate inventory records
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and equipment maintenance procedures
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely loading/unloading of shipments
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for inventory control and space utilization
- Conduct regular safety audits and equipment inspections (all tools provided)
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with team leadership background
- Forklift certification and proficiency operating warehouse equipment
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems (WMS experience preferred)
- OSHA safety compliance and hazard prevention expertise
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to make data-driven decisions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
