Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse associates, ensuring productivity targets are met
- Implement and maintain safety protocols to achieve OSHA compliance
- Optimize inventory management systems to minimize discrepancies and maximize space utilization
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless logistics and distribution processes
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Utilize WMS software to track inventory and generate operational reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience in logistics or distribution
- Proven track record of leading teams of 15+ associates
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Advanced proficiency in WMS (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active) and inventory control systems
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
- Forklift certification required
