Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff daily, ensuring efficient workflow and performance standards
- Implement inventory control systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy and minimize shrinkage
- Coordinate receiving, storage, and distribution of goods while maintaining OSHA compliance
- Train and mentor staff on safety protocols, equipment operation, and process improvements
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with procurement and transportation teams to optimize supply chain efficiency
- Manage warehouse budget and cost-reduction initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience with 2+ years in supervisory role
- OSHA certification and thorough knowledge of safety regulations
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and inventory software
- Proven track record of improving warehouse efficiency metrics
- Forklift certification and experience with warehouse equipment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends during peak seasons
