Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train and supervise 15+ staff members, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions per OSHA standards
- Manage inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels and reduce shrinkage
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely shipments and deliveries
- Generate performance reports and recommend operational improvements
- Resolve escalated issues from staff or clients promptly and professionally
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience in a high-volume distribution center
- OSHA certification and deep knowledge of safety regulations
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to meet KPIs
- Advanced proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory software
- Strong analytical skills for process optimization and data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
