Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor a team of 10-15 warehouse associates through hybrid work arrangements
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain compliance with industry regulations
- Optimize inventory control systems using WMS software and digital reporting tools
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and procurement teams
- Conduct performance evaluations and develop team training programs
- Analyze operational metrics to drive efficiency improvements and cost reduction
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in warehouse operations with 2+ years in supervisory roles
- OSHA certification and Forklift Operator certification required
- Proficiency in WMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory management software
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Excellent remote communication and digital leadership capabilities
- Proven track record of reducing operational costs and improving productivity
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends for inventory counts
