Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, and order fulfillment to ensure accuracy and speed.
- Manage inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies to maintain stock integrity.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance to ensure a secure working environment for all staff.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, conducting performance reviews and fostering a positive culture.
- Coordinate with transportation carriers and internal departments to streamline shipping and receiving processes.
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and operational, including forklifts and material handling tools.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics supervision.
- Valid forklift certification and strong knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Proven track record of leadership, conflict resolution, and team motivation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
