Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and shipping operations
- Lead a team of 10-15 staff members, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Optimize inventory management systems and maintain accurate stock records
- Resolve operational challenges and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with logistics team to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Generate performance reports and analyze key metrics
- Manage flexible scheduling to accommodate team needs and operational demands
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience with proven leadership skills
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training preferred
- Strong proficiency in inventory management systems (WMS)
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of supply chain principles
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
