Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, and shipping logistics
- Lead and mentor team members to ensure productivity and safety compliance
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency
- Implement OSHA standards and maintain a safe work environment
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless delivery schedules
- Conduct performance reviews and develop training plans for staff
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to complete paid supervisor training program
- Basic computer literacy with willingness to learn WMS systems
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license (required for facility inspections)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
