Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Manage and mentor team of 15+ warehouse associates through performance reviews and training
- Implement safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance and accident-free environment
- Optimize inventory control systems using WMS software to ensure accuracy
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely loading/unloading of shipments
- Analyze operational metrics to identify efficiency improvements and cost savings
- Handle escalated customer inquiries regarding order status and inventory availability
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution centers
- OSHA certification and thorough knowledge of safety regulations
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active) and inventory management
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to train and motivate teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
