Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct and supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage inventory accuracy to minimize shrinkage and optimize storage.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols (OSHA) and conduct regular safety audits to maintain a Zero-Incident work environment.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a culture of productivity and engagement.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in workflows and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all forklifts, pallet jacks, and machinery are maintained and operational.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and strong computer skills (MS Office Suite).
- Licenses: Valid forklift certification (Class A/B/C) and a valid driver’s license.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for extended periods.
