Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage inventory discrepancies to maintain high accuracy standards.
- Team Management: Hire, train, schedule, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, ensuring high performance and morale.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to minimize accidents and create a secure working environment.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and implement strategic improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and conveyor systems.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications: Valid forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour safety certification preferred.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams effectively and driving performance results.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
