As our Warehouse Supervisor, you will be the face of our operations, ensuring that our inventory management processes run smoothly and that our team operates efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping functions to ensure 100% order accuracy.
- Team Management: Direct, train, and mentor a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and implement procedures to minimize shrinkage and optimize stock organization.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and conveyors, to minimize downtime.
- Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on operational performance, staffing needs, and inventory status for management review.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading and motivating a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification and OSHA 10 or 30-hour construction/general industry training preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
