Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize storage space utilization.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Coordinate with management to forecast staffing needs and schedule shifts to meet business demands.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance for forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Valid Forklift Certification and OSHA 10/30 General Industry training.
- Proven experience leading teams and managing conflict resolution.
- Strong proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
