Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping functions.
- Manage staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and training to ensure a high-performing team.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate cycle counts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Collaborate with logistics managers to optimize workflows and reduce turnaround times.
- Conduct regular safety audits and equipment maintenance checks.
- Resolve operational issues and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience with inventory management systems and WMS software.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and warehouse best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate heavy machinery (Forklift certification required).
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
