Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor 15+ warehouse associates across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping departments
- Optimize inventory control systems to achieve 99.5% accuracy rates and minimize stock discrepancies
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce processing time by 20% quarterly
- Enforce strict safety protocols including daily equipment inspections and emergency drills
- Coordinate cross-functional operations with transportation and purchasing teams
- Generate performance reports and KPI dashboards for senior leadership reviews
- Manage warehouse budget including equipment maintenance and supply procurement
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse supervisory experience with overnight shift leadership
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training credentials required
- Advanced proficiency in WMS platforms (Manhattan or SAP preferred)
- Proven ability to reduce warehouse costs through process optimization
- Strong conflict resolution skills with documented team retention success
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred
- Experience managing unionized teams and collective bargaining agreements
