Responsibilities
- Lead 15+ team members in daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping
- Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to optimize inventory control and reduce costs
- Enforce OSHA compliance and foster a zero-incident safety culture
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and procurement teams
- Analyze KPIs (productivity, accuracy, safety) and implement corrective actions
- Train and mentor staff on equipment operation (forklifts, WMS systems)
- Manage cycle counts and reconciliation processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years warehouse experience with 2+ years in supervisory role
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator credentials
- Expertise in WMS platforms (Manhattan, SAP, Oracle)
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel/Power BI
- Proven ability to manage unionized workforce preferred
- Lean certification or Six Sigma Green Belt a plus
