Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse associates and coordinate daily workflow for optimal efficiency
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance and zero-accident record
- Manage inventory control systems, including cycle counts and reconciliation
- Train staff on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks) and warehouse procedures
- Optimize space utilization and implement lean warehouse practices
- Prepare performance reports and identify process improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with transportation team to ensure timely shipments
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse experience with 1+ years in supervisory role
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Forklift certification and equipment operation experience
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Basic computer literacy with MS Office Suite
