Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping
- Train and manage 15+ team members to ensure safety and productivity standards
- Implement inventory control systems and cycle count procedures
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe work environment
- Coordinate with transportation and purchasing departments
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in distribution/logistics
- Proven track record in team leadership and staff development
- Familiarity with WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- OSHA certification and strong safety management background
- Proficient in inventory control methods and lean principles
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Associates degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management preferred
- Forklift certification required
