Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Train and mentor 15+ warehouse associates on safety protocols and efficiency standards
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste
- Manage inventory control systems with 99.5% accuracy requirements
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet tight delivery deadlines
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance
- Analyze performance data and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with logistics team on strategic warehouse planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator certification
- Proven track record of improving productivity metrics by 20%+
- Advanced knowledge of WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Experience managing teams of 20+ employees
