Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Lead and mentor a team of 15-20 warehouse associates, providing coaching and performance feedback
- Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring OSHA compliance and zero-accident standards
- Optimize inventory management through cycle counting, reconciliation, and WMS utilization
- Drive process improvements using lean methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce costs
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless operations with transportation and procurement departments
- Generate performance reports and KPIs to track operational efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience with team leadership responsibilities
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and warehouse best practices
- Proven ability to optimize workflows and implement process improvements
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
- Forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred
