Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, ensuring accurate inventory control and dock operations
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols to maintain accident-free workplace
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage inventory systems and conduct regular cycle counts to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
- Prepare daily/weekly performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Resolve operational issues and maintain compliance with company policies
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in fast-paced distribution environments
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operation expertise
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development success
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Associate's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Experience with inventory audits and regulatory compliance (FDA, DOT)
