Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment
- Train and manage team of 15+ warehouse associates on safety protocols and productivity standards
- Implement lean inventory management practices to reduce waste and maximize space utilization
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely dock scheduling and shipment accuracy
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance documentation
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
- Resolve operational challenges and maintain equipment maintenance schedules
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervisory experience in fast-paced distribution environments
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Experience with inventory control methods (FIFO, cycle counting)
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR record
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management preferred
