Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff daily, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity standards
- Manage inventory control systems, including cycle counts and audits
- Train team members on safety protocols, equipment operation, and warehouse procedures
- Coordinate with transportation teams for efficient loading/unloading of shipments
- Implement process improvements to reduce waste and enhance workflow
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Generate performance reports and analyze operational metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced logistics environment
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory software
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
