As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be the face of our operations, ensuring that our supply chain remains seamless and our team stays productive.
Responsibilities
- Operations Leadership: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Staff Management: Schedule, train, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and manage returns to minimize loss and waste.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational inefficiencies and implement strategies to improve workflow and productivity.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate routine maintenance for forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Skills: Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator certification and OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus.
- Technical: Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions (warehouse climate controlled).
