Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards to minimize accidents and ensure a safe workplace.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Manage workflow efficiently, utilizing resources effectively to meet daily and weekly production targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff members.
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the warehouse facility and equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Certified forklift operator and knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) and inventory software.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
