Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Manage inventory levels, conducting regular audits to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Lead, mentor, and train warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Collaborate with supply chain managers to optimize logistics processes and reduce operational costs.
- Prepare and review daily reports on productivity, losses, and operational metrics.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Team Lead in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Forklift certification and physical ability to perform manual labor tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on team leadership.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by business needs.
