Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse associates through performance coaching
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols and 5S methodologies
- Optimize inventory control systems using WMS software (SAP/JDA preferred)
- Conduct cycle counts and lead annual physical inventory audits
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and procurement teams
- Analyze KPIs to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in distribution or manufacturing
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator credentials
- Proficiency in WMS systems and inventory management software
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development track record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and work in varied temperatures
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Experience with OSHA compliance and safety program implementation
