Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff performance
- Manage inventory control systems and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Maintain and utilize provided equipment (forklifts, scanners, pallet jacks)
- Enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize workflow processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs
- Coordinate with transportation and inventory departments
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance scheduling
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years warehouse/supervisory experience
- Forklift certification and equipment operation expertise
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficient in inventory management systems (WMS)
- OSHA safety certification or equivalent
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
