Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and shipping operations
- Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 warehouse associates through performance coaching and scheduling
- Operate and maintain provided equipment: electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and inventory scanning systems
- Implement safety protocols and conduct regular equipment inspections to prevent workplace incidents
- Optimize warehouse layout and inventory management systems to reduce operational costs
- Collaborate with procurement and transportation teams to ensure seamless supply chain integration
- Generate performance reports and KPIs for continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience with inventory control systems
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operation certification (training provided)
- Proficiency in WMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and warehouse equipment operation
- Strong analytical skills with experience in process optimization and cost reduction
- Excellent leadership abilities with proven team development track record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in climate-controlled warehouse environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in logistics preferred
