Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, assigning daily tasks and ensuring productivity targets are met
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems using WMS software
- Train team on proper equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) with all gear provided
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance protocols
- Coordinate shipping/receiving activities and manage dock operations
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency and space utilization
- Prepare daily/weekly performance reports for management review
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in fast-paced logistics environments
- Certification in forklift operation or equivalent equipment handling
- Proficient in inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
