Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to maximize productivity.
- Maintain and inspect warehouse equipment, ensuring all machinery is in safe working order.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports regarding staff performance and operational metrics.
- Collaborate with supply chain managers to streamline processes and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Valid Forklift Operator certification (Training provided if not certified).
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a proven track record of team management.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Physical stamina to perform duties such as lifting boxes and standing for extended periods.
