Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage team performance through training, scheduling, and performance reviews
- Implement inventory control systems and conduct cycle counts
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency
- Coordinate with logistics team to meet delivery timelines
- Prepare operational reports and analyze performance metrics
- Address operational challenges and implement corrective actions
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with inventory control and lean methodologies
