Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Oversee the entire warehousing process, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and implement procedures to minimize shrinkage and waste.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols (OSHA standards) and conduct daily safety audits to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement in workflow and efficiency, implementing solutions to maximize productivity.
- Flexible Scheduling: Manage staff schedules and handle time-off requests, ensuring adequate coverage while respecting the flexible hours policy.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or logistics management.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in supply chain or logistics is a plus.
- Certifications: Valid forklift certification and OSHA 10-hour certification preferred.
- Skills: Strong proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed.
