Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping
- Manage and mentor 10-15 team members, ensuring productivity and safety standards
- Implement inventory control systems to maintain accuracy and reduce shrinkage
- Coordinate with logistics teams for efficient transportation scheduling
- Conduct regular safety training and OSHA compliance audits
- Analyze performance metrics and implement process improvements
- Resolve operational challenges and escalate issues as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in distribution/logistics
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory software
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment
- Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Proven track record of reducing operational costs
- Valid NC driver's license required
