Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and fulfillment activities
- Lead and develop a team of 20+ warehouse associates through coaching and performance management
- Implement and maintain OSHA safety protocols and 5S methodology
- Optimize inventory control systems to achieve 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and procurement teams
- Analyze operational KPIs to identify improvement opportunities
- Manage budget allocation for warehouse resources and labor costs
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
- Strong leadership experience with 10+ direct reports
- Expertise in inventory control and cycle counting
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods
