Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Manage inventory levels and stock accuracy, ensuring timely order fulfillment and minimizing shrinkage.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards to maintain a secure working environment.
- Oversee the maintenance and inspection of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and conveyors.
- Analyze operational workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements for maximum efficiency.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure accurate documentation and timely shipping procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Supply Chain or related field is a plus.
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
