Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance, safety, and adherence to company policies.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, oversee receiving and shipping processes, and conduct regular cycle counts to minimize shrinkage and errors.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current workflows and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate the routine maintenance and inspection of forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse machinery.
- Reporting: Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to management.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of warehouse experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Skills: Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as Manhattan, SAP, or Oracle.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator Certification and OSHA 10-hour General Industry certification preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead briefings and training sessions.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
