Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and compliance standards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Coordinate with logistics managers to optimize warehouse layout and workflow efficiency.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve operational issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse supervisor or team lead role.
- Valid forklift certification and material handling equipment experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
