Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage, train, and mentor a team of warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and safety standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock discrepancies, and implement effective inventory control systems.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports regarding warehouse performance, labor hours, and inventory status.
- Coordinate with logistics coordinators to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Ensure all equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) is maintained and in good working condition.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS) is a plus.
