Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development: Direct, mentor, and supervise a diverse team of warehouse associates to ensure high productivity, engagement, and safety culture.
- Inventory Control: Manage accurate stock levels, oversee cycle counts, and implement inventory control procedures to prevent shortages and overstocking.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a zero-accident workplace environment.
- Operational Efficiency: Analyze workflows and implement process improvements to streamline shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Schedule and oversee the regular maintenance of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to ensure operational readiness.
- Reporting & Analytics: Generate and analyze daily operational reports to identify trends, address bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of warehouse management or supervisory experience.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Licensing: Valid driver's license and current forklift certification.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- OSHA Knowledge: Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and warehouse safety standards.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
