Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage and schedule a team of warehouse staff to ensure productivity targets are met.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct regular training sessions for new hires and ongoing skill development for existing staff.
- Collaborate with transportation and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Perform regular equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics management.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
