Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily receiving, storage, and distribution of goods to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Ensure strict adherence to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize warehouse layouts and workflows to maximize productivity and minimize operational costs.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs for forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Handle conflict resolution and schedule staffing to ensure coverage during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in warehouse management or logistics supervision.
- Valid Forklift Certification and OSHA 10/30 General Industry certification.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team under pressure.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
