Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Lead, mentor, and schedule a team of warehouse associates to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile stock discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules for forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Train new hires on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
- Prepare and analyze operational reports to identify bottlenecks and improve workflow processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role.
- Proven track record in inventory management and logistics operations.
- Valid Forklift Certification and ability to operate heavy machinery.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Experience with warehouse management software (WMS) or SAP preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed.
