Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and safety standards.
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with inventory control to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare daily reports on productivity, performance, and operational issues.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Enforce company policies and procedures regarding quality control and loss prevention.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations and at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Valid Forklift Operator certification (lift truck) is mandatory.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
